Default Quantizing Help

I'm having problems quantizing my tracks. I know how to quantize, but I can't change the quantize set from 1/16. Every setting works like it's 1/16 instead of, for instance, 1/32. Please help, it's getting difficult working around it and I can't figure it out even after looking at the tutorials...

Hi,
So every quantize that you make like 1 bar, 1/2 etc will have no effect? That is the first time i have heard of that.
Is it definetely a problem with quantize and not snap? I ask this because some people do not realize that there are 2 different snap settings. 1 for arrange mode and 1 for edit mode. So they set a snap setting of say 1/2 in arrange mode but then in the edit window it maybe set to 1/16.

Okay, I figured out what I was doing wrong...The quantize option was in the Tools window...:P...thanks for the help though, now I know what the Snap is for.
