Just want to say thanks for all the time you're putting into this refill.

lol No prob, I figure if we have stuff that can help out others, we should help. Since sorting out all these sounds, I'll be honest I haven't been using any other drum sounds so I think it's going to be a good thing

nice one. I love refill re-incarnations of stuff. Slightly off topic, i've actually been sussing out a cheap kit of electronic components you can buy for making your own homemade 303(looks quite different of course)!
But yeah, good work, i'm new to this refill packer stuff but i sample an absolute sh!tload, so i would love to put some libraries together to share. Would like to suss out how to make the art for the combinator too, is it very time consuming or hard?

No way! It's pretty easy actually. There are two methods for doing it, you can edit the jpg they provide in the folder manually or you can load up the .psd with layers and do everything very nicely. I didn't even finish the Alesis one yet and I already have another idea for one, just got back from a nice week long cruise so hopefully in between work and school I'll polish the SR16 off and then start the new project

Exclamation Bout time

Alright, I am finally pleased to say that the Alesis SR16 refill is complete (well, as complete as it's gonna get). The only thing I did not add that I would have LOVED to add was crazy freakin glitch / idm presets but I'll leave you guys up to your own devices (no pun intended)

At the very, very least, the download is worth it just for the samples. All in all I'd say from start to finish this took about seven hours, most of which was spent recording the samples from the device and cleaning them up as nicely as possible. I also included a readme file since Alesis' midi implementation on the unit is rather... bizarre. Nevertheless, I hope you guys enjoy. I wanted to submit it to Propellerhead but they sent me this scary disclosure form and it basically says if they get sued, I get sued for copyright infringement and I just can't afford a lawsuit from Alesis nowadays xD

I hope this works, and if I get a decent response I've been toying with the idea of an RM1x refill but I'm totally on the fence with that one. Enjoy guys and sorry again for the wait (being a fulltime student and working even part time is totally the pits and totally leaves me with little free time).

Laters!!
