^lol...might be the wrong place to ask that

but like moltar said about the creativity thing...thats actually really true. the more you work with well, not just reason but any music making software, without using any samples at all, you get ALOT better and more comfortable with the tools and instruments

imo i'd rather be able to pull up an instrument and configure it just how i want than to need to search for a sample

of course, orchestral stuff is different than electronic music. back when i used ACID i would spend hours literally just going through google search results compiling as many free loops as i could find and...at the end of the day i actually found some good stuff

definitely check the net -- there are TONS of free refills, and any wav sounds can be put into the samplers

also, don't underestimate the power of the effects (mclass, scream, etc) -- they can turn any old sound into something completely new and virtually unrecognizable -- for example, pick an electronic drum beat (rex file) and run it through scream set on digital -- all of a sudden you have a digital beat with a slight melody to it -- run it through delay and there you go: something completely different
