Default Trying to record acoustic instruments PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I get the basic concept of using the virtual instruments and effects like Malstrom, NNXT, and Compilers and stuff but...

1. How do I go about recording a take like me playing guitar or singing a vocal track?

I don't understand how to do this or even know if I can do this with Reason.

2. Is it possible to record it in a way that I could alter/change the tempo of the entire Reason project with the recorded take playing in real time?

Also....

3. How do I use an audio interface like my Lexicon Alpha with Reason v4?

1) You need to record this with a sound editing program, like Audacity, which is open source and free. Make sure that you record it on time, the same tempo as your song. Then, trim the beginning and end to start when you start singing/playing guitar etc. and save it as a wav file. Then open it with an NNXT. When you press root note (default is C3) you'll hear the recording.

This can be done way easier in Ableton Live. It's built for external input like electric guitar or vocals, and can rewire with Reason.

2) No. I'm a pretty sure (I said pretty, correct me if I am wrong) that you would need a DAW like Cubase or Live or Logic or something for this to work. Alternatively, you could time-stretch using Ableton but it wouldn't be pretty.

3) If it's sending midi signals through USB then I shouldn't even have to tell you to go into Edit>Preferences. Just use it like any other device... not too sure how it works but that's what the manual is for right? If it's actual hardware, like analog devices, then you'd need to get yourself one hell of a soundcard to route the sound through your machine and back into and input. That would be really cool though.
