| You can also tell us how you made it, what inspired you, what programs you used etc. We're thinking of recording a live session between SG and I sometime soon. This is not definite, we've only really talked about it briefly, but we both agree that it'd be a really cool thing to do. So if and when we do end up doing it, I'll post here explaining how to set up Reason with NINjam (the medium for playing live through the interwebs) and any of you guys can join. Anyway, I'll start off with the trance project which I started off the other day. It's pretty course but you get the general idea. I made a lot of the thor patches myself. I'll post back once I finish it off. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/7/14/1266312/2.mp3 Not really about anything in particular, just some generic trance chords I threw together.

No, I live in Ireland, he lives in Detroit (I think). There's a program called NINjam which can be used to play live through the internet, using an electric instrument (most people use electric guitars and analog keyboards) but you can use it with Reason or a DAW too. http://www.ninjam.com/ Is this thread such a good idea? We can only sticky so many posts..?

hey titancow, i liked your song. i think it would sound cool if some really fat popping bass kicked in when the treble kicks back in at 1:14 (like in 'doom's night'-azzizo da bass') my flatmate only just taught me some of the basics on Reason, and here's my first attempt at a song. kind of humorous it ended up sounding a bit aphex twin.....which isnt my 'style'. let me know what u think of my very basic piece! http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/5/...31/minimal.mp3 |

Yeah this thread's a good one, as long as people are working on stuff lol. I myself am working on a couple of hiphop mixtapes, my own (though I'm open to collabing on this) experimental pure instrumental ablum called "The Instrumental Project" and hopefully I'll be able ninjam with you titancow. Also I'm trying to get a vocalist for a track I wrote and see how that goes. So that's it, and yes you're right titancow I do live in detroit. |

| What kind of problems exactly? Is it the drivers, damage to hardware, distorted sound or something like that?

No, the Dell drivers exclude stereo mix so I have to download the LG version for it to work. Also, my soundcard is kind of choppy, I've read that it's to do with the headphone jack, but it might just be the soundcard. Either way I'm buying a new USB one. So I'll get that set up once everything's working.
