I am new with Reason and for some reason I can't add in anything else but drums. At the bottom where it shows the layer there should be a little red circle next to them so i can record them and stuff but it's not there. I know i'm being vague I just don't know how to describe it. Does anyone know how to get it so I can have more than just drums in the songs I am making?

Yes, I am making a mixer. It's so annoying because I am trying to make a song and I can't add anything but drums and stuff I do with my keyboard with the synths and stuff.

Right click on your instrument track in the sequencer and click "add new note lane".

It would help alot to watch the 15 minute tutorial James Bernard gives on the Propellerhead website. I went from knowing jack to being comfortable with the whole system after about ten minutes, he explains everything in a great easy to follow way
