when i copy a pattern from redrum into the sequencer, the sample only plays for a split second if the gate/delay is set to 1 rather than 0 (the square wave rather than the triangle wave). as i'm trying to chop the longer samples (eg backwards cymbal), i need this function. how do i get redrum to play the whole sample when put into the sequencer?

If u can download ReCycle, u can work more with this function.
But maybe the problem isn't with reason, but with YOU!
Just use ReCycle and everything will become ok!

Everytime you copy a redrum pattern into a sequencer track the generated notes are mostly too short. You can mark all notes and drag their ends to enlarge them. Just enlarge all notes rather larger than shorter. They cannot be too large, because you´ve already set up the max length in redrum.

Sorry, if this was too harsh, but I think this is no language issue. If I didn't understand a question right, I wouldn't have fired tips like 'use XYZ and everything is fine' into the room. But OK, I don´t want to start a quarrell here. Sorry.
