Default NNXT pitch detection question

Hi There,
I made a sine wav at 440hz but when I tell the NNXT to "set root notes from pitch detection" it places it at A3 minus 18 cents. Then I made a similar sample at 880hz, and it placed that one at A4 minus 6 cents. Why would this be happening? Shouldn't they line up perfectly? thanks for your time!
William

hey william, do you lucid dream?

i think that you can fix this by setting the root note of each sine sample in the remote editor of the nnxt to whatever note the hertz value corresponds to.

this should help you do this.
