| So I'm trying to learn ReGroove and I have a drum pattern copied to my sequencer track, and I have the pattern assigned to Regroove channel A1. I'm playing it back, playing with the slide knob- that works fine, can definitely hear the effect. Now when I turn the shuffle knob, I hear no effect at all. Is there something I forgot to do to? Please help, this is one of the features that I got Reason 4 for. Thanks a million. |

Actually...I noticed the shuffle when I just ran 16th notes on Redrum. I guess what I was going for was like swinging eigth feel. I feel dumb for not being able to explain in in correct musical terms but kind of like the slow swing feel of the Reggae-->Jammin 12th Note regroove preset. Does anyone know how you might program something like that? I was able to kind of get what I want with the "Get From Clip" feature. (Cool feature.) |

Put the redrum into 32nd or 64th notes (by setting the resolution and increasing the number of beats accordingly in the redrum), and play with that, you can get more specific grooves by working with that along with the regroove.
