Hey everyone I recently bought a midi to usb converter cable, I have it plugged into my piano (out connected to out, in connected to in) and then the usb plugged into my computer. But i got nothing. It says the drivers are there and working, but reason doesn't recognize the keyboard. I don't know if this makes a difference or not, but the piano I'm using is a Calvinova from the 80's, its a digital piano but it does have midi ports. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

Try swapping around the USB ports? I don't specialize in the technical stuff, but I do know that my keyboard will only work in some ports. And if the drivers are in an archive, unzip it before you install them. If you get any technical information google it!

This seems to be wrong. You have to connect the MIDI-OUT from your piano to the MIDI-IN of your Converter.
