Hi, I don't know a lot about this topic, but Reason does not allow you to leave watermarks. There are packages out there that can do it for you, if you google 'audio watermarks' you will find some. There is a company called 'Music Trace' that can do it. Matt.

Sorry, but I dont want to know how to create a watermark. A friend of mine told me that all software leaves their own individual watermarks and if say one is to get famous making music with Reason, it is possible to look at the water mark of your song, and determine if your software is pirated or not, and they can also get other information too. I was just curious if this was true. Maybe Ill look into the install contract or something.

Itīs possible, that some informations about your copy are stored in the RNS-Files, but I donīt believe, there are hidden informations in the rendered audio files.

i really doubt that that is true. It'd be pretty difficult to put watermarks in wav files and when you convert it to mp3 for myspace it would definitely screw it up. Maybe with RNS files and RPS files, but I'm almost certain that it wouldn't apply to exportet files.
