Hi guys, I'm looking for a nice laptop I can use with Reason in a live situation. My budget is up to 1k. Any ideas?

Also, what do you need to perform live? I have a keyboard, and an external controller. Do I need anyhting else? How do you hookup the laptop to an amp or a PA system at the venue?

I use an Inspiron 1720 with creative audigy sound card, seems good - haven't tested it out yet.

I guess that you couls connect the sound to the system through a 1.7 - 1.7 cable with a 3.5 adapter at the end.
