Hi: I'm currently using N TRACK 3 as main seq, that version does not have Rewire support. I need to record REASON 3 soft synths sounds in n track with that version playing from my Yamaha keyboard. I don't want to use the up to date version ( N TRACK 5) with Rewire support because it has some other changes I dont like. My questions:
Could I use MIDI YOKE to link both programs? Should I set Midi Yoke 1 as input port in reason and Midi Yoke 1 output port in n track? What about settings in Midi Ox?

Yes, should be possible to send MIDI data from n track to reason via MIDI-Yoke. You even should not need MIDI-OX for this purpose. Just use one of the yokes as you described above. There´s only one issue left: the audio. I don´t see a way to get the audio ouput from reason into n track. Another problem could be ASIO. If you use an ASIO-Driver, Reason would be properly not able to playback, because the device is already in use be n track.
