It's possible to run Propellorhead Reason on Linux systems using the WINE or Codeweavers CrossOver applications.

It isn't running completely properly yet, and audio output isn't properly configured so it'll be a while before it is a fully liable solution to using windows or mac. There's some mixed feedback on the link above.

The programs are simple GUIs which emulate the Windows OS (legally) and can install and run .exe files.

Reason is just one of the many programs that can be used through WINE or CrossOver, other audio and non-audio programs can be run as well.

The CrossOver and Cedega software can even run Windows games, including, impressively, Steam games such as Counter-strike source and Half-life.

This software isn't new, but I thought that I should bring it to the attention of people who may be considering downloading (legally free) a distribution of Linux, such as Ubuntu.

o yeah the only thing cause i desisted (for that moment) to use linux its cause when im installin spent a lot of time to configure my audio drivers (i didnt find alsa drivers compatibility or something like that)without exit, its time to round 2, by the way JACK has not been released for windows?

I don't have Linux and I don't like it, because I can't work with it and it doesn't work on my computer!
Maybe because my Computer isn't good enough!
I work with Windows and there Reason works best!
