Default This is simply amazing....

Direct Note Access feature will be available in the new Melodyne 2.0 plug and even future celemony products:

This is just insane, espeicially for people big on sampling. Just watch the video, you won't regret it....What are you waiting for?! WATCH IT ALREADY!!!

Yeah I just saw yesterday. I dunno, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it is utterly amazing, on the other hand, because of technology like this we get to listen to people like Britney Spears and T-Pain.

I guess all good has to come with some bad, sometimes I just feel like actual "musicianship" isn't going to exist soon enough, if not already...

I'm not talking about the pitch correction feature for vocals. That technology has been around and is used by alot of people. I'm talking about being able to change specific notes within a chord within a sample, just as if it's midi! Thats crazy!

This will be one of the best musical breakthroughs of the decade.

Yeah I understand that, but I could play some REALLY horrible whack shit on my guitar and just fix the notes. You know?

All in all it's great, a wonderful time saving tool for sure. It's just kind of sad in a way too I guess...

Well if you mess up while recording midi and then you edit it, isn't it the same thing?

Like a lot of things, the possible pros outweigh the possible cons.
