is this wrapping thing the easiest way to time stretch a beat or not? i am reading up on it now...and it doesn't seem to mention any of the things that you mentioned to me before about time stretching in ableton.

Well timestretch has the auto warp feature and does most of the work for you. Usually I just use one warp point and the end and the beginning of my sample because they're usually a four or eight bar loop. And I then stretch it to whatever I want.
