Default DSP questions

so friends, how can I keep this junk lowered?

sometimes it peaks and cuts the track and I hate it. This generally happens when I'm pumping like 10 thors into one piece, so I understand that i'm overloading the system

but is there anything I can do? word

thanks

on a mac, try going into the preferences and upping your CPU usage limit.

Have you tried increasing your buffer in the audio settings?

Also, if you haven't it tried already. You could try asio drivers.
