Did you try manually adding the keyboard. Does your keyboard midi inputs show up when manually add one?

Yeah i tried to manually add one, but no luck. When it asks for you to "make a note with the device" i've left it for 30 minutes and still no luck. I've tried all the obvious really and nothing. Not too sure what to do with the yoke and selecting the right one so maybe that's where i'm going wrong? |

I've had a lot of experience with my keyboard being a tad tempermental. Sometimes it will only work on some USB ports, you have to plug it in before you start the Reason engine, and you should try re-installing drivers a couple of times, possibly by manually dropping them into the DRIVERS folder in the WINDOWS directory. Hope this helps.

You say 'Manually Dropping them'? Where do i get the drivers from in the first place? Do i create specific ones for the Tenori-On? |

Well you should be able to download the drivers from the relevant brand's website, or from an installation CD you got when you bought it. If the drivers do not show up in WINDOWS/Drivers, then you can use UniExtract to extract the drivers and drag-n-drop then into the Driver folder. Just be careful and make sure that you don't delete anything important - it's wise to back up anything you don't want to accidentally fudge up.

Bought one of these little fellas on Saturday. I have a Korg Audio interface with its own midi in/out so. tenori midi out to korg midi in. in the midi rack in Reason Layer 1 = Channel 1 Layer2 = Channel 2 and so on Channel 1 is set to desired instrument I mapped a rex file over a keyboard in the sampler tenori only plays the white notes so you have to shift the hi and lo keys about a bit - so you can step sequence or sequence beat repeats etc.. Or Put a Percussion kit into a synth and go nuts. I'm usually pretty duff when it comes to midi implementing, but this happened pretty easy. Good luck |

Reason needs to find your interface - not the tenori also external sync in reason tenori set to master. |
