| I love propellerhead products and I think with their development team they could make a killer DAW, think about it. A DAW with basically the same possibilities of routing as reason has, timestretching, vst support, etc.. Sure it may be more demanding on your pc and more buggy but I just feel that they can succeed at making a great DAW. Oh well, a man can dream can't he............. |

oh my god yes. I think that if they played their cards right, they could make a KILLER DAW. With the analog routing style of reason, maybe even virtual large-format consoles (neves, APIs, SSLs, Tridents) and virtual tape! Dream f**king on!

I think that it will happen. Those guys at Propellerheads know how to write a decent programme - so I see no reason why they wouldn't consider bringing Reason to another level. |

Uhhh I don't think so? Imageline owns fruityloops, I think that's the program you're thinking of.

You may want to check out REAPER DAW... www.cockos.com/reaper/ written and actively developed by the guy who wrote Winamp. Rewire Reason and track your vocals in Reaper (they sync up together) Unlimited tracks Unlimited sends Record, Midi, Audio, Automation It has powerful routing (although not visual) It is affordable & powerful It supports rewire, VST, VSTi, DX, DXi Can be run from a USB drive! You can try before you buy... It's non-crippled, non-expiring shareware. It's only $50 for non-commercial license and you get updates for free. (which happen about once a week) It's tightly coded - the download is only about 3 MB! Check out some videos listed here to see what it can do!http://www.cockos.com/wiki/index.php/ReaperVideos I don't work for the company, I'm just a fan of the software.
