Hello all, I'm new to this forum so please excuse my ignorance if this question has already been answered earlier.

I use Reason 4 with Cubase SX3. I only recently upgraded to Reason 4 and now that I have I cannot seem to play sounds when I switch to Reason using my midi keyboard. Let em try and explain this a little.

When I use reason in isolation it works fine, no problems. When I use reason with cubase (in rewire mode) I cannot siwth windows from cubase to reason and play the racks at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had this same thing happen to me while rewiring Reason to FLStudio, I know that since FL is the host application it takes over my midi keyboard, making it not available for use in Reason. Usually what I do now is disable the keyboard in FL and reserve it for Reason since most of the sounds I use / create are in Reason anyway.

Not sure if this helps at all, from the sound of it you are having a totally different problem but if you get that control surface warning when you pop open the rewired Reason it's probably the same issue. Best of luck

If your using cubase make sure that reason is not showing (running behind cubase) sometimes what that does is shuts of the audio from reason.

And also i assume your setting up different channel for each instrument for reason in cubase right?
