| I use Reason 4 with Cubase SX3. I only recently upgraded to Reason 4 and now that I have I cannot seem to play sounds when I switch to Reason using my midi keyboard. Let em try and explain this a little. When I use reason in isolation it works fine, no problems. When I use reason with cubase (in rewire mode) I cannot siwth windows from cubase to reason and play the racks at all. Any help would be appreciated. |

I've had this same thing happen to me while rewiring Reason to FLStudio, I know that since FL is the host application it takes over my midi keyboard, making it not available for use in Reason. Usually what I do now is disable the keyboard in FL and reserve it for Reason since most of the sounds I use / create are in Reason anyway. Not sure if this helps at all, from the sound of it you are having a totally different problem but if you get that control surface warning when you pop open the rewired Reason it's probably the same issue. Best of luck
