actually there still is a need for a big ass mixing board like that. #1. If you are working on 2" tape (which I often do, and it sounds awesome). #2 analog summing sounds better than digital summing, analog eq and compression also sound better. Pro tools is nice and convenient, this is the real shit.

Well, moved into a new apt a few weeks ago and had to get rid of my desk.. But the new place had a built in desk, so i had to make do with the space.. not to bad tho... I actually kind of like it better, puts me closer to all my equipment, gives it more of an intimate feeling when im making music... check it out...   |

HAHA well, you see the space im workin with.. It has its advantages.. and i've really gotten used to it.. It actually helps a lot with the way that i work... The speakers are amazing.. I got em the the "economic stimulus" they sent out last year here in amerca. haha.. I had heard them many times, and always heard good things about them, so i just had to have them.. Well worth the money spent in my opinion.. Only thing i want to change is my audio interface, The Ozone is great, but there is no Monitor control knob, so i have to manual adjust the volume of each speaker whenever i need to turn them up or down.. Kinda sucks.. but it works! hehe. The chair is actually custom lol.. It used to be red fabric, but i got my hands on the leather covers for a seat out of a 2007 Acura TL.. and took the chair apart and stapled the leathers over the coushins.. you can't see it in that pic but i actualled sewed an Acura emblem on the back coushin... lol |
