Default tutorial dvd or book for medium to advanced users

I have bought the tutorial DVDs from MacProVideo and have learnt quite a a bit from them, but.......

do any of you know if there are some tutorial DVDs out there which go into the nitty gritty side of reason, like I have seen glimpses on youtube, where some people are doing all sorts of tricks in terms of wiring up devices differently.

I suppose a book would do me for a start :-)

Hey,

I learnt a trick on wiring, nothing special, i don't know whether its as hard as what you are looking for but all it is, is separating the drums, each individual hi-hat, snare and so on, i could compile a little word document to show you what to do just pm me maybe if there is a way i could post it somewhere for all to access.

Yeah that's a pretty simple trick I do it. I rewire each drum output to my mixer so that way you can insert separate eq's, fx and all that jazz. I could actually just upload a .rns file with all that done then all they would have to do is download it, open it, and press tab to see what was routed which way.
