Default Import MIDI

Hello!

I have a question about importing midi files... I've tryed to make real-sounding drums for my band with Reason... but all the songs that are allready written are programmed in Guitar Pro (much more easy I think) but that's just midi and not acceptable for live performances. So, I saw reason could import midi files and I thought that it would be easy to make real-sounding drums with the ease of programming it in guitar pro first. But reason only sees the hi-hat and snares... no toms and kicks and stuff...

Can someone help me with this?

Midi does not actually import the sound with it, so if in your midi file the hi hats/bass drum/toms were on certain keys you then have to load a patch in your sampler that has the same drums assigned to the same keys or you could switch the samples to match the keys OR you can drag the midi to the correct keys in edit mode.

Double click the midi clips and it should bring you into edit mode which will have a piano roll to the left indicating which midi notes are on which keys.

And how can I select faster the whole "notes" besides dragging the cursor along the midi thing?

Thanx

you can only select them in that way, but its quicker if you zoom out horizontally (slider underneath the sequencer window) and do it.
