| Ive had latency issues with my M audio fast track usb and oxygen49 keyboard with reason 3. Im using a capable Vista 32 laptop. Reason just wont recognise the ASIO from the fast track, and after downloading the long awaited update from m audio, it worked great! Until i restarted my laptop and it had disappeared again! This led me to believe there was something not right with reason. I downloaded the update (3.0.4) and after installing, i click to run Reason from the installer, i have the option to use the Fast track USB ASIO/ASIO4ALL in preferences. This is all fine. But when i restart from my desktop, the ASIO preferences have disappeared again! Joy. Ive tried the uninstall/reinstall process with no progress. Is there something im doing wrong or a box i havent checked somewhere? EDIT:I cant believe this. Right after i posted this i thought id give it one last try. Heres what i did: Right click on Reason on desktop, Run as administrator!!! Done!!! Hope this helps anyone else in the same situation. Next question.......how do i have administrator privelages for all my programs? Last edited by stemajor7; January 12th, 2008 at 16:08. Reason: Success!!! |

Hello, you might try an open a user account which has administrator privileges. Vista can be funny at times, to say the least Jimi |
