I am using Reason 3.0 on a macbook (OS 10.4.8. , 2 Ghz Intel duo core, 1 GB RAM). My problem is I cannot get Reason to go into Rewire when I am working with a host program such as Digital Performer of Garage Band. I am making sure I am opening the host program first and then Reason last, but when Reason opens, its Audio Out is in “audio card” mode, not Rewire. I am using the same procedures with my desktop and everything works fine, Any tips on what I can do to fix the problem? Thanks in advance!

you'll need to go to the propellarhead site and download the rewire patch which fixes the mac/intel/rewire issue.
