| I've been using reason for a couple of years, and i've been getting into sampling, i was wondering if there's a way to sustain the sample, the slice rather, instead of holding down the key on the keyboard until the sample is played all the way through...i load my samples into the NN-XT |

Hi Deli, I THINK you can just draw in the 'line' from the screen when you are in edit mode on the sequencer edit lane for the NN-XT When you see the piano keys on the left, just hit the sample playing key to show you which line it on it is on -- and draw it in with the mouse. Stick 'er on loop till you have it spot on.Of course the length of the line dictates how much (or all) of the sample is played. I am fairly sure this is how you do it, as I saw it in a video somewhere on using the vocoder... That's another story. All the best, Jules 80 |
