Default My Redrum Drum Kits subfolders are all empty

I'm very new to Reason. While following tutorials on youtube and attempting to load redrum drum kits, I find that all the subfolders are empty. The same is true for subfolders containing patches. I'm not sure what patches are at this point.

If you try to open samples (individual drum sounds) with the button that browses for patches (a whole set of drum sounds), they won't appear.

The button that browses for drum patches, i.e. a whole kit, is at the left of the Redrum machine, but the button that browses for individual samples is at the top of each channel, numbered 1-10.

A sample is a single sound, which is either wav or aif. A patch is a preset collection of these samples which may have already been tweaked, and each instrument (Subtractor, NNXT, Redrum etc.) will have a different filename (e.g. Dr. Rex is .rx2, .rxy, etc.)
