Unhappy Speaking of Midi controllers..

Ok, so I am just learning how to make everything work with everything else on my system. I just got an Oxygen 8v2 and I am trying to use it with Reason 3. I can use it to record frequency and res changes etc.. I can also connect it to each individual instrument and "play" it, but I cannot record anything from the keyboard (melodies etc...). Do I have it set up wrong? I have the right drivers, and it is selected for all busses. Anybody know what to do? Also, is there any way to set it up so that if I want to record an instrument, I dont have to always go up to the "hardware" device and change the instrument that comes through channel 1 if I want to record different instruments one after the other (ie. assign all outgoing channels from the oxygen into each channel in Reason simultaneously)? Does that make sense?
