| I`m having trouble in getting Re-Drum to accept the Midi from some of a Roland Electronic Drum kit. All the Midi signals from the kit are getting through to ReDrum, but when I hit the cymbals & hats I get the Mute signal inside ReDrum. But it is working great in recognizing the Midi signal from the Snare and Toms, just not the Midi from the Hi-Hats and Cymbals. I`ve tried messing with the Midi Controller preferences, but worried only keyboards are meant to be used to send Midi into Redrum, rather than an electric drum kits. Thanks very much for any help!!!! |

You have to use the C1 octave, otherwise it mutes the channel instead of playing it.

Thanks very much for the reply - it`s all becoming much clearer now. I`m now trying to work out how to re-direct the kit`s Midi to the C1 Octave. Not sure if it should be done inside Re-Drum (have been reading about the Transpose section?) Or if I should re-direct it from the Kit`s Brain. All the best. |
