| My macbook has live 6.0 and reason 3.0, but I when LIVE is open and I attempt to open Reason to REwire it into LIVE, it says the reason engine is not properly installed... If I open Reason on its own, it is fine-- this only happens when attempting to work within Ableton Live. I am having no trouble using Reason 3.0 and Ableton Live 5.0 on my old iBook. Also, my copy of reason is an update for reason adapted, not sure if that is relevant or not. I'm not super literate when it comes to troubleshooting this kind of stuff, so any help and advice is very much appreciated! I'm hoping that I'm just overlooking something relatively simple and that it is an easy fix... Thanks! missfitz |

Try opening Ableton first.

You definitely have to open Ableton first, and I've recentlyl discovered that Adapted can, in fact, most definitely rewire. Sorry for saying otherwise in the past.

Cool man. Do they run well together? Can you use the AB sequencer to trigger Reasons synths along with ableton's synths and drums? Does it run smooth like that(if you can)?

I'm not sure, I've never really had to rewire that much before, my knowledge of Live is weak, perhaps someone else would know?
