Hey there, is it just me or has the sequencer for R4 changed in some ways that shouldn't have been?

I mean i really like some of the nifty stuff that has been added such as the effects lanes more easily accessible and all but why oh god WHY do we have to mingle with the "Join Clips" or having to work our way with the arrows and stuff, making it much more complex to make loops instead of how it was done before to!? =(

I'm really appreciating the other stuff that has been added (more specifically the possibility to REC/edit everything now! =D) but this is killing me!! =(

Please tell me there's a way around this!!

Work around what exactly is there one thing specifically you're talking about.

If you're talking about the sequencer in general you could rewire to a DAW that has a sequencer you're comfortable with. I felt the same way at the first time but for me the pros of the new sequencer out weight the cons.

I was a bit confused as too why the pro's decided to change the sequencer in the way that they did, but having now spent a few monthes using it i'm convinced that it is a better way of working.

The only thing that pisses me off now is the way my old Reason tracks look in Reason 4 - there a bit of a mess.

I hate the "Join Clips" feature. I wish that can come off.

after spendin a bit more time in depth with the program, its just as you were saying, the pros outweight the cons, i'm more specifically pissed with the join clips concept, (especially that there isnt even a shortcut for this pretty important task =S)

but yes i think that what really sets me off is probably looking at my R3 tracks on R4 and how much of a mess they look like lol
