Default Silly Newbie Question - Recording instruments in Reason 4.0

I now have a lot of beats, melodies, etc....recorded in Reason 4.0, and even a few "songs" (if you can call them that)......I'm using a new MacBook for this. What do I need to bring in electric guitar or bass? I also have access to a full blown ProTools setup at my friends house that we use to record live stuff....I'm sure there's a way to record electric instruments into Reason live.......no?

Well what you can do is rewire into another DAW that does. Reason can't record any non-midi instruments, but I think that Ableton Live can.
