Default DubStep Bass

I'm new to reason & want to know if i can us it to create the bone shaking bass you get in DubStep??
Is there any tutorials about to help with this?

Also, is there any good sites around for getting drum samples (DnB-Garage-DubStep) to load into redrum?

I listen to quite a bit of dub step, but haven't tried to produce it - not my thing. I am mostly into dnb. But the way you do bass in dnb should be very similar. Just try layering several different (or even same) bass sounds together. Put them all into combinator and you got yourself a kick ass bass instrument.

It's not easy, but I am just pointing you in the right direction.
There is almost no way to achieve such rich and deep bass with just one instrument, especially if you want it to be vibrant.

Actually I do layer a lot of basses and stuff, it's best to put them along with any additional effects into a combinator.

What basses do you find you get the best results with?

Subtractor - Bass Guitar, Sound on Sound.
Thor - Fat Boy, Gangsta Lead 3 (octaved down).

Just a few.

Default The Terminator 4 Salvations

The Terminator franchise is what got me interested in the movies in the first place. The first was a suspenseful cyberpunk thriller, and the second became my favorite movie of all time. The third fell short of intelligence but still solid nonetheless, and the TV series was a good addition to the franchise. Nearing the end of May, the fourth and latest film addition of the beloved sci-fi franchise will open, and viewers are in for a sheer summer spectacle.

um so wtf spam blockers o_O lol

but as far as a good subbass.. load up in thor a blank patch and then turn up the decay and sustain on the filter & amp env. Use a high not like C7 but load an Analog Oscillator and turn the octave wayy down. This makes the sound really fat. Then to make the so called 'wobble' assign an LFO to any knob you like at 100% and do a tempo sync then mess with the LFO rate and there ya go!
