Default ReWire problem with Audition 1.5??

Can anyone give me a clue here??

When I use Audition 1.5 as a ReWire host, my Reason songs play as super-loud static, no matter what drivers I use, and no matter what settings I use in Audition.

Thanks a lot.

Did you check your audio buffer rate? If it's too low that may cause a static noise and it could be your pc isn't able to handle the cpu load.

Hmm..

Playback buffer=1 second, 10 buffers.

Record buffer= 2 seconds, 10 buffers.

I increased the size on both to 3 seconds, leaving buffers= 10..no luck.

..then with 3 seconds still on each, tried again with number of buffers= 20.

Still no luck.

You mention audio buffer rate..I am assuming that is in Audition settings, not my pc?

..and I did not see any buffer rate specifically..just size in seconds, and number of buffers..did I miss something?

Thanks for your help..it sure would be nice if this would work.

Default Thank you

I appreciate the replies. Finally I have an answer.

I tried out the Audition 3 demo today and had the same disappearing cursor problem I had in AA2..bummer.

Then after installing the AMD dual core Optimization drivers, everything works like a charm.

I still cant get AA1.5 to ReWire, but 3.0 is perfect.
