Default Can't Maximize reason

I have a 24 Inch Dell widescreen at 1680x1050, and i've looked all through reason 4.0 and I just can't make the whole thing bigger. It takes 1/3 of my screen.
Thanks in advance!

ya, thats just the way reason is, it can't be changed. I dont know why they chose to make it that way. Just gotta deal.

Just think about it.

The Reason rack tries to look like an actual hardware rack, and if you stretched it to be whole screen, that would fudge up the whole perspective.

True but at least they should have made the channel window (below the racks) with the option of dock/undock (floating) so that we don't need to scroll everytime ...by undocking we can just place it next to the racks. I mean the racks can stay like this, but give some option for the layout !!! Some have wide monitors , others dual or triple monitor desktops, why stick to something that doesn't fit to the workspace?

But undocking the sequencer window IS possible! Just select "Detach Sequencer Window" in the "window" menu.

yeah i only just figured that out to be honest i never bothered to look i just put up with it, i'm not too sure whether it works well though, maybe they could have made the whole window expandable but leave the rack the same size, that way you still have the sequencer all away the bottom and you also have the rack not stretched maybe have a notes panel to the right enabling you to make notes on what you are making and they save with each rack you save
