Default MIDI controller stops playing

If I open up Reason (4) and have the demo song open, I can use my MIDI controller (M-Audio Axiom 25) to play any of the instruments. Once I close the demo though and start a new project, I get no sounds out of it. The keyboard icon on each track shows green, like it's getting the signal when I play, but no sound. I suppose it's possible I accidentally clicked a setting or somethingt, but I don't know where, and I'm stumped! Yes, volume is up, I've tried different instruments, etc...Thanks for your help in advance.

Check:

-Everything's wired (devices should be hooked up to a mixer which should be connected to the reason hardware device

-That you've loaded a patch for your device

Also, if you e-mail me an rns file as an example I'll figure out what's wrong for you. My email is titancow.tmcc@gmail.com

I have the exact same problem as the first user. Can anyone shed some light on the issue? I am a new user, so this is a little daunting. Thanks.

And reading the manual is maybe a good idea, too. ;-)
