| I started when i was looking for a program that makes background music for my brother. He wanted me to find a program to make some tricked out mucsic for his album. ( that never happened ) He's still working on it I guess but i made thirteen background music for him so i don't know what he's doing. So why did you start using Reason? |

I started using it because a few of my friends were into producing trance music and also started using it

I stared with Ejay, then moved to Fruity Loops, then Ableton Live... and i thought id try reason, so i downloaded a demo. It was like nothing ive ever seen... i mean, i thought Live was the best thing in music production, but when i saw reason i was like whooa.. blown away... it gives you the power to control every sound in it... its unbelivable.. then, i bought it |

I used to use Acid pro and I made some whack ass sh!t lol (not trying to bash acid though). So I looked up other means of making music when I stumbled across posts of people using reason, downloaded the demo and I loved it.

Used flstudio for (almost) ten years. Bought Reason 4 when it came out because I loved how modular it is compared to FL. Began rewiring the two, but then found 80/90% of the sounds I was using were in Reason, and switching between the two was a pain in the ass so I just decided to work strictly in Reason. Not to mention I like the work flow SO much more in Reason, a completely subjective opinion of course lol |

I have my half-brother to thank, he installed Reason on my PC and even gave me a keyboard!

I went through an agonizing search for a software sequencer, after trying the VSTi route of making music for a while. I wound up using FL Studio, but found it way too cumbersome to use as a sequencer, so I tried Reason 3.0 and found it was the perfect match for me. |

started with Cakewalk using an XG Midi sound card, and was messing with FL (didn't like it), then came Rebirth |
