Problems with MIDI keyboard

Hi,

I'm totally new to reason. Today my usb midi cable arrived, so i plugged it into my midi keyboard, but I can't get it too work. I've messed about to try and fix it, but tbh I don't really know what I'm doing. I just want to use it with the sub tractor at the moment. Any help much appreciated...
