Default Organizing Sounds?

Hey Folks,

wanted to ask how you organize your sounds, because I got everything still in my Refill and I have to search and search for some Instruments. I want to sort it by Strings, and Kicks and so on today.... what do you think of that method?

In your patch browser you will notice a cloumn called favourites. Tou can create a folder in there called "strings" or whatever and then drop the samples you want into it. Note, that these are not copied as such and the samples still remain in there original location.

yeah it's like when you add music to a windows media library. the files aren't copied, shortcuts are made instead.

I bought a soundblaster card, aswell. Then I did some research and kept finding that they are no good for music production, as they don't give you a true replica of your sound, due to effects. They are awesome for gaming.

Make sure you turn off all the effects, like bass boost and stereo widening etc.
