I have a need to create a midi of
a simple bass drum beat. I create it very nicely as follows

I create a new file

then I add a redrum
then I add a patch to get drum sounds
program a bass drum to play 1/4 notes for two bars.

that is it I can play it but I cannot export it as a midi file.
What am I doing wrong.

the only thing I have loaded is the redrum
