Well a basic MIDI keyboard can go a long way. It has two control surfaces and usually around 49 keys and will usually cost 100 dollars more or less. I got the midistudio-2. You can get a keyboard and controller which means that as well as having keys it has multiple knobs and controls which you can assign to particular controls in your virtual reason rack. These will probably cost a lot more, but I would suggest a Korg.

well dells are usually good. i use a dell myself, but it really depends on what sound card you get and what sound system. you could buy an apparently crap computer then buy some studio AKGs and realise that you got a really pumping sound card But I'd say that if you go for a dell package it should turn out well. if you're thinking of buying something let us know because i have a couple of inside tips and i'll let you know how good your sound card is. Creative is a very good sound company. As for monitors, and LCD flatscreen would be a good idea. Also, you should make sure you get a bassbox. Like I said, show us specs here before buying it.
