Default help with vocoder

So im trying to use the vocoder application on my reason, but the first thing i have to do before i use it is to record my voice. I've honestly downloaded sooooo many programs for this, but all of them are just confusing and they dont seem to work. What recording software could i download that is just basic and simple and records my voice recordings to a wav format so i can just move that file into my reason file that i want to use.

Try Wavepad. It's pretty simple. Just Google it.

i recommend using audacity -- try sourceforge (or you can just google it). it's free, very lightweight, easy to use -- and you can export to wav very easily
