| I think that Garage Band is the best. I like it because its the easiest to make it loop. All you gotta do is like file> loop or something like that. Others you have to do all this stuff that takes forever! |

Considering that i am very new to this stuff... reason has been the only program i have used... it is very simple and probably the best program to start out with

Yes i did like how reason was very simple to start out on learning. But GarageBand is alot cheaper and i personally think better. With GarageBand you can record audio directly into Grageband and reason you can not.

its like this, every program has its ups and down the best program for the project you are working one is the one you know how to use weather it be reason, cubase, protools or what ever the case may be. In my case if I’m making a beat it would be reason. If I’m recording some one it would be cubase, if I’m mastering a song it would be wavelab, or sampling it would be soundforge. Are you starting to see the picture here? Basically, what I’m saying here is find what works for you that fits ya style of music and stick wit it, na mean

Yeah there's strong points and weak points. But I have to remind ya that this thread is about your favorite audio program in general, not for any certain situation.

Reason gets my vote. Reason belongs in every studio, both home and pro. Many colleges and universities are also adopted Reason 3. |
