I would like to know, if theres any Trick i could do, so that my Melodies I play on the KB, sound more fluid. Cause everytime I play some Melody i like the sound of it, but i play it back and it sounds so chopped, so fuckin unclean. It dont sounds clean. Because the drums and stuff are real nice, but the synths and Strings and stuff sound very cheap.........

What can I do?

Play around with the attack and releae of the instrument, reverb is always good.

I'm not sure what your problem is here? Is it the overall sound of the melody. Or the way it is being played. You say that you like it when your playing it but not when its played back. The only reason I can think of then is that "snap to grid" is on, casuing you to lose the fluidity of natural playing.

If it's "unclean" then the best thing you can do is EQ it.


To stop things sounding cheap - spend more money on them.

Yeah i thought of the Release-Thing too. The problem is, the melody itself is ok, but the seperate tones, sound "fucked up", as were they cutted. when you hear the melody its not a melody of many sounds together, its more some tones pushed together. I cant really describe it.......its just the Crossfading of the sounds......

Use some effect devices... and quantizize your notes.
