oh yeah, and that's what flam is for, you'll see a button to the bottom-right hand corner of the redrum drum computer that'll say "FLAM" set it to 110 or whatever works best. Then click on a square and the led above it, which will make it roll.

You need to change the start time for the sample. Only a specific few Redrum slots have this ability. The knob is just called "start". Turn it till you get your desired effect. You can also use EQ I can't remember the freq you are after for getting rid of cymbol clunk. Theres loads of advice on this online. |

you need to add a little ambiance and dynamics to make a cymbal roll. try adding reverb to the mix. as far as snare rolls if you dont want that dirty south snare roll sound you need two different snare samples. if using redrum you can get away with pitching and shortening the length on the same sample.
