Default The official release date for Reason 4

If you go to propellerheads' official site, http://www.propellerheads.se
You will see that they've announced Reason 4.0's release date on their most current news post. "Come on SG GIVE ME THE DATE ALREADY" Well fine, it'll be released September 26. If you go the site it has a banner that shows the time left until it's release. So it's public, and the countdown begins, and god I wish I had a time machine just about right now.

I can't agree more, Propellerheads have definattly delivered. Making a sequencer that is easer and quicker to use is going to be a massive help, I'm sick to death of the primitive one were using at the moment. And Thor is going to steal my social life altogether. I think we might need an instruction manual with it, by the looks of things. It's pretty crazy and should stop the need of using multiple synths in a combinator to get a phat layered sound.

Propellerhead are going to get an angry letter from my girlfriend - I can see it coming.

Well I tried out the demo, thor is incredible, it really has a rich full sound, and yeah, it's parameters are really confusing. The regroove mixer is pretty simple, but I didn't play with that much, for now. And I was trying to get the Arpeggiator to work, but I was little confused I'll admit. I think these all are great additions. As for the sequencer....it's definitely matured, but wow, it didn't "help" my workflow at all, I find it much more cluttered and harder to get around. Although it offers WAY more control over your tracks and devices it loses it's simplicity. Which to me is a big thumbs down, but I'll get over it, and once I get a hang on it to where things are going about smoothly I gotta say reason is going to take alot of time out my life.

Hi, only 10 days!

About the new sequencer, i think that, despite of a bit more complex now, after a month we coulnīt have lived without it.

Thor, well, i havenīt played demo or beta, but since all that i have readen, seen and listened to, i think that is the true espirit in the new Reason.

Reason has always been the best for to built our tracks, working all the sounds together, but it was very difficult for me to find true amazing soloist sounds, leader sounds... now with Thor this will change, i think.

I usually create everything within Reason - one of my albums is called "Within Reason"
