I have Reason rewired into Nuendo (Cubase).
I've read about 5807262.32 tutorials on how to rewire Reason into Cubase, but I'm either overlooking something or it's just not there.

I have the rewire successfully set up, all the channels work fine. When I try to mix down, there's no audio from the rewire tracks. I'm not completely stupid, I knew that wouldn't work.. but it was a last ditch effort to try to figure this out.

All I want is to be able to get the audio from the Reason channels into actual audio or some type of midi. I obviously need this explained to me on a 5th grade level or something.

I would ultimately like to use Nuendo's sequencer to set the pattern, then trigger the sample from a Reason instrument.. but right now I'll take any method I can get for My computer absolutely refuses to do that though. I know I'm close to figuring this out, I just need a boost.

Okay, I remember I had that same problem, i read all those tutorials and still couldn't get it to work, then figured it out on my own. I don't have cubase anymore, (in my opinion it's too much of a resource hog and ableton's live is much better and easier to rewire in). But I think there is a drop down menu called devices? And then start up reason and you'll see reason in one of those drop down menus, you click it and then it show L and R mixer or some like that, you click on the button to the left and it showed highlight now what you've done is allowed the audio to stream from your main mixer in reason to a channel in cubase. Please excuse if this completely wrong my memory of cubase is just wrong. I do still have my cubase cds and all that, i just took it off my pc, i could reinstall it just to see...

I can get that far and that's what I'm trying to do is get audio to stream from reason to cubase. In order to do that, I'd have to add an audio track, then set the input of the audio track as the output from the reason interface. Therein lies the problem, I don't have the option to do that. The reason channels show up fine and i can automate them even. I just can't get them to record. I want tracks that will be there and play even if i close reason.

I use nuendo with reason. And SG is right, all you have to is go into the devices tab and select reason. Then a rewire menu will pop up and you have to turn on the channels you want the first two are stereo, but then the remaining 62 channels are discreet. When you enable the rewire channels it brings up its own fader, so you don't have to add an audio track. I hope that helps, if not sorry.

Oh yeah and if your trying to make the audio from reason become audio in Nuendo, you have to adjust the loop selectors to you desired points and the solo the rewire track and then export as audio, there will be some more options choose the ones you desire but there is one that says import into pool, if that one is checked it will bring the audio back into nuendo as a new audio track. And then you wont need reason open anymore

My question is similar so I'm continuing this thread. I am in the same situation, I want to convert to .wav a drum beat in Reason that I have ReWired to Nuendo so that different drum sounds are on different tracks. I can bounce each one down individually, but that is a bit tedious.
The question is, is there a way to set up busses so that the ReWired tracks in Nuendo are inputted into another audio track that could be set to record live? This would allow me to just hit play once and have all the rewired tracks converted to audio .wav files simultaneously.

I use to reware reason to nuendo & import individual track to nuendo from Reason & then editing each wave file in nuendo.
Perhaps that is suggested by Propellerhead.
Is there any other method to import individual reason tarck to Nuendo?
