I have noticed other than reason itself they have other software as well to go with it. I know they have a tutorial DVD for it. I am thinking about getting that just to see if I can learn anything I havent learned yet from toying with it.

And are any of you teachers out there? I am just curious for the fact they have a program that you can use to teach your class reason.

I have gone to the main site to see if they can send me some replacement discs for reason. And the only reason why was I had scratched a few of the discs and couldnt repair them. I know that they only have replacements for the reason 3.0. Does anyone know where I can find old replacement discs?

Reason is one of the simplest music making software's out there. Therefore they don't have like anything on Reason. The only thing that I've found is Enter Reason! I have never used this before but it seems like it could help a lot with beginners ( but i don't think you should buy it! Reason is so easy! ) Also its a little expensive for me... $40!!!!

I actually just did this as I had scratched up my soundbank disc. I ordered replacement discs and got them about 10 days ago. I should've done it a long time ago because the original discs had corrupted refill files, and I could never open some of the orkester sounds and had problems opening a lot of different refills. Now after re-installing everything off the replacement discs Reason is just a dream... no more loading up problems, no more "media related problem" messages. Every stock sound opens, and I can finally open the Strings refill!!

So yeah, I would recommend ordering replacement discs from Propellerhead if you ever have a problem.
