You can use your guitar with Reason if you buy a MIDI converter, but it doesn't work like an amp. The converter makes it similar to a keyboard, you just load up a device with a guitar-sound patch and use your physical guitar as a controller.

As a lot of guys has said in a lot of threads (why people don't look a little around before post them questions?) reason CAN'T HANDLE ANALOG (input) AUDIO. the only thing you can do is record your guitar in other software such cubase, or protools or ableton live and then across a NN-xt, synthetize it. sorry, i don't want to be agressive, but i'm really bothered today. electric guitar strings vibration / movement electronics. This electronic signal is sent to an amplifier, which is used to drive a speaker. "Induction" is to use the magnetic pickup mounted on a bar magnet is essentially thousands of turns of thin wire wrapped strings.
