I've done a cursory search on this forum and a few others. The issue I'm running into is the SM Digidesign audio card doesn't seem to be playing nicely with Reason. I'm running: Mac G4 Silver running OS 9 Protools (I think 5 with the Digi001 hardware) Reason 2.0 It was working great like two days ago. If I switch to the internal sound card it works fine, but would love to have it going through my nice JBL's again. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Should I just try to re install the drivers, |

So I ended up figuring it out. For some unknown reason ( I don't recall having done this myself, but ah well, damn you whiskey). The SM Digidesign card was muted in the system settings To change this on mac OS 9 (it took me a second to find it as I'm not on this machine as much as I would like) 1. Click the apple icon in the top left 2. SCroll to Control Panels 3. Select Sound from the expanded out submenu 4. Confirm that the main volume isn't muted and you should be good to go. Hope this helps. |
